Ben Gates is an aspiring storyteller, future English teacher, and active movie watcher. He studied English creative writing for his undergrad at Western Washington University and is currently finishing a post-bacc program for a teaching certification. He wants to inspire students through their own creativity, to show them that they are worth more than a grade in the books.

Storytelling has always been something He has identified with whether he’s listening to someone else spin a tale or he makes one himself. They are a perfect escape, as they can be anything. They can take you anywhere with no limitations. He hopes his stories can bring you that vision of escape to somewhere new.
